Welcome to a talk on Queer Ecology with Brigitte Baptiste, Chancellor of Universidad Ean, Colombia.
The talk will be around the challenges we face with ecological transitions and landscape transformation, to focus on our need for more elements to decide where to hit development.

Queer ecology and other ecologies are talking about ways of looking at natures that are different from the past. We invite you to join us. There will be fika served.

Brigitte Baptiste is a renowned Colombian cultural landscape ecologist. She is recognized for her expertise in environmental issues and biodiversity in Colombia. Her contributions extend to the Intergovernmental Science and Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services, where she served on the Multidisciplinary Expert Panel. She has also represented Colombia at the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research.

Brigitte Baptiste was the director of the Alexander von Humboldt Biological Resources Research Institute and has also made contributions to global biodiversity and ecosystem services, serving on various panels and committees. She advocates for the interconnectedness of queerness and ecology.
