Sustainability Week

A brief introduction to the Sustainability Week

The Sustainability week is an annual event in Lund organised as a joint venture by Lund University and Lund municipality. The week serves as a platform for bringing together ideas, for cross-disciplinary collaborations, for raising public awareness and for inspiring sustainable change.

  • The Sustainability Week is organized every year with up to 100 events around Lund, in the surrounding area, and online.
  • During the week, lectures, seminars, workshops, guided tours and exhibitions are arranged - all connected to sustainable development, both ecological, economic and social.
  • Everyone is welcome during Sustainability Week, but different events can target different target groups, such as students, professionals, adults or children.
  • All events during Sustainability Week are free.

The next Sustainability Week will be held 5-10 of May, 2025.

The call for interest to organise an event for Sustainability Week 2025 will open in November 2024.
