About the PhD conference

New ideas and research are needed to identify and solve complex societal challenges. The PhD conference is an opportunity to encourage interdisciplinary cooperation in order to further academic research on all aspects of sustainability.

The aim with the conference is to showcase ongoing research on sustainable development and to offer a networking opportunity for PhD students with similar interests from the whole of Lund University. It will be a space to meet and share ideas and research, and hopefully strengthen existing as well as generate future cooperation across disciplines, departments and faculties.

The conference will provide online activities and a meeting space on campus at the Department of Political Science. There will be opportunities for conference participants to meet, network, and exhibit their work, performances or posters.

Practicalities

There is no conference fee.

The conference will be held on 30 September - 1 October at Eden, Department of Political Science, Lund University. Most of the conference will however take place online due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
