He will talk around his dissertation topic of the role of international investment, its governance, and arbitration in advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the wider UN development framework, particularly Financing for Development.

Who’s in charge? – Accountability and the Sustainable Development Goals

The Agenda 2030 Graduate School invites you to a vibrant panel discussion on the practical implications, normative challenges, power-balance concerns as well as ethical issues related to accountability.

Soo-Hyun Lee, our PhD student at the Faculty of Law, will share how the Sustainable Development Goals and indicators can be a tool for reducing legal uncertainties.

Welcome to an open talk with development economist Sakiko Fukuda-Parr on the theme "Knowledge and Politics in Setting and Measuring the SDGs". Sakiko Fukuda-Parr is a professor of international affairs at The New School in New York and has gained much recognition for her work as lead author and director of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Human Development reports.
