Teaching Sustainability Showcase
Are you looking for examples of how to integrate sustainability in your teaching? Are you curious to learn from your colleagues’ teaching experience? At this event, gain inspiration from other teachers who have devoted time to develop an implementation project to be used in their teaching.
During Spring 2024, participants in the course ‘Teaching for Sustainability’ at LTH have worked on several projects, developing ways to implement teaching for sustainability in their courses where sustainability is not an explicit topic yet. Fifteen participants have worked on a total of five projects, which will be presented at this final meeting in the course – a showcase in which we welcome interested colleagues and students to hear about our projects and give us feedback.
At this showcase, projects will be presented in the plenum first, followed by the opportunity for individual discussions of the project, with the goal of both giving and receiving inspiration and constructive feedback.
If you have a project you would like to present and get feedback on yourself, please contact mirjam [dot] glessmer [at] lth [dot] lu [dot] se (mirjam[dot]glessmer[at]lth[dot]lu[dot]se). We are looking forward to constructive and inspiring discussions!
Registration
Spaces are limited to 15 participants. For late registration, contact mirjam [dot] glessmer [at] lth [dot] lu [dot] se.
Audience
This project showcase is intended for educators and students at Lund University who are interested in informal discussions and networking around the topic of Teaching for Sustainability. While the projects are implemented within an engineering context, they are useful widely to consider different didactical approaches in your own contexts.
Venue
The event will take place at Pepparholm in Studiecentrum. The entrance is located at John Ericssons väg 4.
