Roundtable discussion: 'The most inclusive COP ever' - reality or an empty promise?

24 November 2021 18:00 to 20:00 | Seminar
Climate demonstration and climate negotiations. Illustration.

Before the COP26 in Glasgow, the COP-President Alok Sharma embraced the conference as 'The most inclusive COP ever'. In a time of COVID precautions and travel restrictions, organizing a global climate summit has required even more extensive planning in trying to bring the world together. Yet, not everyone has been invited or able to attend the conference in Glasgow, and several voices feel like they have been excluded. Even those who made it to the conference are not part of the negotiations on equal terms.
