Submit before 30 September 2016

Climate-KIC has launched a call for Demonstrator projects with a deadline of 30 September for the submission of proposals and we encourage partners in the Nordic Community to apply.
The role of a Demonstrator project is to focus on the application of innovations with an emphasis on:

  • business model
  • climate relevance
  • scalability

This is to prove the innovation idea actually works and to demonstrate the context within which it will work i.e. going beyond just the specific knowledge or technological idea.

Proposals are invited which address the challenges and priorities of our 4 thematic areas (links to Climate-KIC):
Urban Transitions
Sustainable Land Use
Sustainable Production Systems
Decision Metrics and Finance

You can download the guidelines for submission as well as the application form here.

Please note:

  • proposals must be a maximum of 20 pages
  • only Climate-KIC partner organisations are eligible to apply
  • partners are requested to provide 50% co-funding for the project.

It will be possible to organise meetings and conference calls with the relevant Theme Portfolio managers from 1 August 2016 for further discussion and development of any demonstrator project opportunities you have. However, please ensure that you contact our Innovation Pipeline Manager, Henrik Nørby Søndergaard on henrik [at] climate-kic-nordic.org for initial guidance and assistance.
